As a friendly, professional salon, these policies are put in place to protect both parties. We look forward to welcoming you!
By booking any of our hair, makeup, or training services at Bagham Barn Hair Salon, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
We have free on-site parking, so please allow yourself at least 10 minutes to arrive prior to your appointment. If it is your first appointment at the salon, we require this time for you to complete a personal consultation card. This document is 100% confidential and is used for hair colouring purposes only.
We work in scheduled appointment times. If you arrive late, your appointment time may be shortened. If you are really late, we may have to reschedule your appointment and a late cancellation fee will apply.
Please note, 48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations to avoid cancellation charges. Otherwise, 50% of the total treatment price of your service will be charged if we are unable to re-sell the reserved treatment time. Cancellations should be made by calling us on 01227 636686.
All our appointment bookings will send you a 48 hours’ notice. We encourage most clients to book online via our online booking system. You will enter your personal details including phone number and email address and we will contact you prior to your appointment.
For all hair colour work over two hours, there is a non-refundable booking fee. This includes vegan and no ammonia hair colour, Keratin Smoothing treatment, wedding hair and makeup, and all celebrating events.
Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion, like to send you details of open evenings and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these, please let us know.
All products purchased may be refunded within 28 days if they are unused and in their original packaging. Due to the nature of our business, some services are non-refundable. If you are unhappy with one of our services, please notify Bagham Barn Hair Salon within 24 hours to allow us to rectify this for you.
Gift vouchers can be bought online, over the phone or in the salon. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money.
Salon hygiene is, of course, of the utmost importance. To achieve optimal cleanliness, all our equipment is sterilised between each service. We use new disposable gowns for each client.
In-Salon Training Days
Our trainees are learners and their services are slower than that of our senior stylists, top consultants and tutors. On training days, services are free with a level 1, 2 or 3 NVQ trainee. There is a small product charge for products used on your hair. The product charge is non-refundable. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the salon if you become rude or aggressive to one of our learners.
All new clients must receive a patch test a minimum of 48 hours before your hair colour appointment. If you are a regular client, please inform us as soon as possible of any of the following: you have changed your medication, had a baby, had Covid-19 or your Covid vaccinations, or are undergoing any medical treatments.
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the salon alone and must be accompanied by an adult. For our princess parties, groups of children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/guardians will be required to fill in a consent form. Adult services are not included in our children packages. Adults who wish to have a hair service carried out must book an appointment at another time.
Expensive Items and Jewellery
Bagham Barn Hair Salon does not accept responsibility for lost items or jewellery that have been removed before or during your time with us. We recommend that you leave jewellery and personal items at home.
Fashion Hair Colours and Full Service
All fashion hair colours (Balayage, Babylights, Ombre with Root Smudge, etc.) with a haircut and finish require between two-and-a-half and three hours to complete. Please be aware of this when you make an online booking. Call us on 01227 636686 to confirm your times.
You must inform Bagham Barn Hair Salon of any allergies or medical conditions that you are aware of that might affect your hair service. You must inform us of any medications you are currently taking and if your medication has changed. Bagham Barn Hair Salon will not be held liable if you do not provide us with this information prior to or upon your arrival.
Offers - Our Loyalty Reward Scheme
Offers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, or transferred. Special offers must not be transferred to a third party. Offers can only be redeemed on certain treatments. Your offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. All client offers remain the property of Bagham Barn Hair Salon.
Without notice, Bagham Barn Hair Salon reserves the right to:
a. terminate the scheme
b. decline to issue Loyalty cards
c. withdraw or cancel the loyalty card or scans collected
d. alter or amend the terms & conditions of the Bagham Barn Offers scheme.
