I teach private and group courses in the salon on the days that I am not with my clients. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching, accessing and working in the hair industry. I have worked as the head of hairdressing for local authorities like Kent County Council and in private academies in Kent. I have 30 years experience of working in salons.

My one and two days workshops in haircutting, colouring, curling techniques and bouncy blow-dry will teach you new skills or help to improve your existing skills. To see my work go to the salon YouTube page.

Course Tutor

I teach on the barbering modules and NVQ courses in the salon two days a week. I enjoy working with hair and have worked in the hair industry for the past 10 years. I completed my barbering qualification at Bexley College and my hairdressing at NWK College. I have several years’ experience in teaching, accessing and working in schools, colleges and special needs education settings.

My 10 and 16 weeks fast-track barbering courses are designed to give our learners competency and skills to start their career in barbering. After completing the course you gain an NVQ 2 Diploma. After finishing the level 2 barbering qualification, you can progress onto the level 3 NVQ technical level qualification in barbering.

The level 3 NVQ barbering qualification covers a range of skills which include cutting men’s hair creatively, hair colouring and how to use a cut-throat razor. This occupational qualification is ideal for a career as an employed and/or self-employed male barber.
